The Outer Worlds
This was a really cool gameplay show for the upcoming game by Obsidian Entertainment. A first-person RPG very much sticking to the Fallout routes of the developer.
It was all very focused on the player choice on the character they wanted to be. In this era in space, dominated by massive corporations, you are taking them on.
But the how and who you are is down to you. I was impressed by this and liking the fact the shooting looks pretty tight.
Like a lot of the games down the page, it’s playable on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
Bleeding Edge – New Game by Ninja Theory
New from the guys at Ninja Theory and another playable on GP at launch. It’s all about combat and action with online 4V4 combat.
There are some very cool looking characters and it looks a lot of fun on first view.
Anther coming to Game Pass with an Alpha on 27 June.
Ori and the Will of the Whisps
Ori and The Will of the Wisps gets a beautiful new trailer. What a game the original was, and this looks like more of the same if not even better.
It’s going to be playable at launch with Game Pass and arrives Feb 11 2020
Play with GP at launch, top-down dungeon crawling game with cool Minecraft block style to the visuals. Co-op action has a very Diablo feeling about it, with inventory management and lots of action.
Arrives in Spring 2020 and gives you both local and online co-op play.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Following on from EA Play [Another cool round up] we see more amazing footage from the new Star Wars game. This time Jedi Fallen Order was showcasing a mission to scale and take over an AT-AT.
Plus a look at the story and some of the nice relationship with BD-1 who is awesome and I love already!
Looking very impressive for action-adventure and Star Wars fans I have to say.
Blair Witch Game
Now, this was a blast from a rather underwhelming past. But we are getting a new horror title in the woods in the Blair Witch storyline.
The game itself looked really good though, very intense with no HUD on there to bring you right into the first-person immersion. The game is set in the 90s and it’s like you are caught in some kind of camcorder loop.
Interesting idea. One to watch.
Keanu Reeves in the fecking game! That’s right, he’s in Cyberpunk 2077 so don’t even THINK about shooing any dogs in the damn game, ok?!
Not only that, he appeared on stage following the amazing story trailer showcasing the game, looking stunning.
The gangster situation gets out of control and V just about makes it out alive, then wakes up to see Keanu Reeves talking to him.
In real life, the actor that defines the word cool confirmed the release date for 16 April 2020. That’s me off work for a few weeks!
Update – Collector’s Edition
Not only do we get a trailer, and full body capture of Keanu in the game, you get this!
A very awesome Collector’s Edition of Cyberpunk 2077. Detailed here:
The game’s Collector’s Edition is also available for pre-order and comes packed with a number of high-quality collectables.
These include a 25 cm/10-inch statue depicting the game’s protagonist — V — in action, a steelbook case, a hardcover art book, and more.
The Collector’s Edition comes in an impressive box made to look like one of the megabuildings towering over Night City.
Queue lots of Fry, “Take my Money” memes!
This new game is coming in 2020 with Xbox Game Pass including the Xbox One and Windows PC.
Spiritfarer is a cosy management game about dying. As ferrymaster to the deceased, build a boat to explore the world, care for your spirit friends, and guide them across mystical seas to finally release them into the afterlife.
Also coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch
Yes the Battletoads are back and looking very old school in the best possible way. Coming to Game Pass when it releases too.
” Zitz, Pimple and Rash are returning at last to Morph Attack their way through an all-new action-packed adventure of choreographed chaos. Couch co-op may never be the same again.”
The Legend of Write
Really cool looking hand drawn title that was full of really innovative gameplay and ideas. Certainly one to watch coming up, some information is below:

[email protected] Games Montage
As usual, a number of cool indie games were showcased in an [email protected] Video and this year there was a nice selection to enjoy.
Including Afterparty, Creature in the Well, Riverbond, Dead Static Drive, Undermine, The Good Life and more
Game Pass for PC
A slight slowdown moment (which I needed to be honest, it was madness up to here!) showcased that the Xbox Game Pass was, as expected heading to PC.
But the Ultimate version also includes the GP for PC too so you can literally game anywhere now as you see fit.
Microsoft Flight Simulator
The first of a few that slowed the pace a little as they went more PC Game focused.
Flight Simulator has always been a bit of a hit though and those gorgeous graphics and detailed flight mechanics looked captivating.
Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition
Another classic PC title is coming and will be seeing you return to some awesome tactical action as Age of Empires returns. Info:
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition celebrates the 20th anniversary of one of the most popular strategy games ever with stunning 4K Ultra HD graphics, remastered audio and a whole new campaign – The Last Khans. Return to Reign in 2019.
Get ready to meet some more interesting people in Colorado in Wasteland 3. The game looks pretty decent in the short gameplay shown off.
Remember, the first round’s on you!
Nice look at the game and it’s very much looking like we fans want it to! Loads of crazy characters and full of charm.
Double fine joins Xbox studios. Schaffer offered to work on Halo, Forza or Excel. I’ll bet he can make a decent IF statement!
Despite the exclusivity of the studio, the game is hitting all formats originally promised, including PS4.
Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
Now this is going to be a lot of fun! We get to play all 9 films in one game! We need a 9th film first though I imagine. Some info:
Play through all nine Star Wars saga films in a brand-new LEGO video game unlike any other. Experience fun-filled adventures, whimsical humour, and the freedom to fully immerse yourself in the LEGO Star Wars universe like never before.
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot
Really cool anime game now with the guys from Bandai Namco showcasing a new Dragon Ball Z title, Kakarot.
Arrives early 2020 to Xbox One and also PC and PS4.
Now, this really did catch my attention. This was a really cool psychological thriller game based on time travel. All very dramatic and seemingly driven as a graphic adventure.
What should be a romantic evening with your wife turns into a nightmare when a police detective breaks into your home, accuses your wife of murder and beats you to death…
Only for you to find yourself immediately returned to the exact moment you opened the front door, stuck in a TWELVE-MINUTE time loop, doomed to relive the same terror again and again…
Unless you can find a way to use the knowledge of what’s coming to change the outcome and break the loop.
TWELVE MINUTES is an interactive narrative that blends the dream-like tension of THE SHINING with the claustrophobia of REAR WINDOW and the fragmented structure of MEMENTO.
Way to the woods
Another very cool looking Indie title at the show was this adventure, Way to the Woods. Looks like it could be something a bit unique and bring back bad Bambi moments! Some info:
A Deer and Fawn journey through an abandoned world of the unknown to get home. Unravel the mystery of Cat Town, evade wolves, and explore a world filled with the relics of the old gods: humanity.
Getting into the final part of the show we started to see some of the Xbox main exclusive titles. With Gears 5 coming up, confirmed or September 10, we got an unusual psychological trailer featuring Kait.
We also learned we would be getting the game on Games Pass not only at launch, but playing a few days early if you have Ultimate.
There is a Beta in July and a new Escape mode to look forward to in the second trailer, below. There was also confirmation this was the biggest single player campaign in a Gears game, as you go deeper into Kait’s story.
If that wasn’t cool enough they had WWE Stars AJ Styles, Tyler Breeze and Xavier Woods there to play the game. Likely some footage later.
Plus there was a Terminator pack for Gears 5 looking cool with a Dark Fate movie tie in.
Sexy new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller
Honestly, this was a bit too sexy for a controller. I think I need help! Looks really cool though! Info:
The all-new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 features over 30 new ways to play like a pro, including adjustable-tension thumbsticks, new interchangeable components.
Up to 40 hours of rechargeable battery life, and limitless customization with the Xbox Accessories app on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC
Dying Light 2
A nice story based trailer for Dying Light 2 confirmed the game for Spring 2020. Which when combined with the confirmed release of Cyberpunk 2077, means we might be missing a lot of sleep!
The trailer showed off the new hero. Aiden, a new character in a world torn apart by the ravages of the infection, where every decision counts and death lurks around each corner.
Sounds awesome and no doubt will be!
Update – More on Aiden and Features from Techland
The trailer introduces the game’s protagonist, Aiden Caldwell, an infected survivor whose high-flying parkour skills and brutal combat ability make him a valuable asset in this crumbling metropolis.
Through Aiden, the player will make impactful choices that shape the world as they play.
New details around the game have also been announced today, including the addition of music from celebrated video game composer Olivier Deriviere (A Plague Tale: Innocence, Vampyr, Remember Me, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – Freedom Cry).
Deriviere was responsible for the score heard in both the new trailer and the E3 demo, and will be continuing to compose for the full game.

While this one did leak, we got a very dramatic story trailer that gave the basic premise of the game from the From Software team. No gameplay but a little bit of info is here:

NextGen Xbox Console
As hinted at before and teased through the show we got to know about the next-gen Xbox. The new Project Scarlett is all about great game loading speeds and fluidity, optimised for only one thing: games
No TV focus this time! They threw some tech specs around including Zen 2 from AMD, 4X more powerful than Xbox One X. Frame rates up to 120 per second. 8K ready with hardware accelerated performance.
It also benefits from an SSD that can also be used as virtual RAM to work with the DDR6.
Scarlett will be coming Holiday 2020 and bringing someone special with it…
Yes, the show ended with where it all began. Master Chief returned and the new game, Halo Infinite is coming late 2020, holiday time with Project Scarlett console.
We got a very nice looking tory trailer looking really impressive, hitting the dad vibes for us older gamers! Everything is looking quite lost as master chief returns and all of a sudden there is hope.
That’s the lot gamers and wow, it was sure a lot of stuff. It has some great moments, not sure if there was once again too much focus on quantity not quality. But it was certainly a blast.
Don’t forget to share and help your fellow gamers get all this in one place.
