Welcome to E3 2017 gamers as we get going with this Xbox E3 2017 round up. We got to see the next in the Xbox console at last and it’s called the Xbox One X and arrives November 7th 2017 for $499. With us in the UK it’s likely to be slightly less than that but you never know!

Below is a round up of the event, a tonne of videos and some information where we have it. We don’t believe gamers should have to click around so everything is on one page below. If you like that idea then Share This on social media for other gamers to get involved.

We want your comments too, what did you think of the show? Did you get everything you wanted from the Xbox team? Let me know using Disqus or Facebook Comments at the end of the article.

The Xbox One X Joins The Family

We get to see the new console! It may have been called a Scorpio for some time but it’s officially coming out as Xbox One X which is in line with the console trend I guess. I’m surprised it wasn’t simplified just to Xbox or just keep Scorpio going, but it’s ok.

Xbox e3 2017 Round Up Xbox One x ImageThey did speak on this a fair bit at the start before the avalanche of games came our way. It was a nice presentation given the specs are out there already and it does seam an impressive piece of kit. It’s expensive though, at $499 for someone to spend f they have an Xbox One already is a lot to ask.

Fortunately the games looked great even with a few big games not here. What was shown looked very good, a few have some big potential. Plus the best part is you can play all on your Xbox One games and fits in with backwards compatibility. You are also getting original Xbox Games backwards compatible too which is pretty cool.

Bottom line, the games are good enough people find whatever price it is. And there were some great looking games.

Metro Exodus Revealed

The first trailer was utterly jaw dropping even not in 4K as I watched it. The new Metro title was looking awesome and I was sucked in right away. The damn thing almost made me shiver it looks so cold as you get going, and the intensity is there too. It was a nice game to show off, even on 1080p so in 4K this was be ridiculous.

See the first ever gameplay below.

Forza Motorsport 7

I’m not a huge racing fan but this game looks so damn beautiful I wouldn’t mind the hundreds of crashes into corners I’d do as I play. The entire idea of Xbox coming along without a new Forza Motorsport is unthinkable now. Boy did they deliver an impressive looking entry.

More please!

Crackdown 3

Terry Crews is clearly a legend in anything he does and to come in and be part of the Crackdown 3 cast is awesome for the game. One thing this game will bring to the Xbox party is fun. It looked as expected in the end but maybe not as polished as we at MGL want to see at this stage.

Will be good though, looks a lot of fun.

Sea of Thieves

Got to get this out of the way gamers, I’m not 100% sold on this one even after a much better demo this time. Sea of Thieves looks like it could be interesting but it’s not quite getting there for me. THe new gameplay was better than ever however and there is that Rare charm about it.

There is certainly a good game in here and a fun one too. I’m just not sure how long it will keep you playing for.

Black Desert

A new RPG, just like I wanted. In fact, I was convinced that Black Desert was going to be a Fable title at one point. It had that same style about it and it does look very much something to play if you like online co-op.

Assassins Creed Origins

Assassin’s Creed is back and it’s going back to the Origins of the Assassin’s in this game with not only a nice trailer and some narrated gameplay. It all looks very impressive but my question here is the game engine. I mean, did they need time to get it working differently over the past year.

Everything looks very much the classic formula.

Anthem

Wow. I was stunned by this. the gameplay including some cool Iron Man style flying to navigate the dangerous open world. I liked the customisable suits you can wear and create as you see fit. Plus the mixture of play with or without friends looks bang on to me.

Ori and the Will of The Wisps

More from Ori was here too, a game we all loved if you managed to play it. If that answer is no, go get the original game now. It’s amazing! This looked even more impressive and with a live composer I was impressed

Not a long wait for this either.

Cuphead, Ashen, State of Decay 2 and More

There were so many outstanding games I’ve popped the rest below for you. INcluding the outstanding Cuphead, Ashen and State of Decay 2.
