We have a teaser trailer gamers, and it’s a great one for us Final Fantasy fans with a look into Square Enix’s plans to release another remaster after releasing the above Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age Trailer. As Final Fantasy games go, 12 is not usually the first on people’s minds in terms of the series but it was one of the most gameplay changing episodes of the long running JRPG series ever.

Updaate: we did say we would update you gamers! More details have come to light with a press release below the original article. Looks like the big news is the Zodiac job system coming over to western players for the first time along with confirmation of the features. The remaster should land in 2017.

It was one of the most fun combinations of the classic RPG tactics and modern combat techniques so we are looking forward to seeing how this runs on PS4.

This is about the only thing we know so far, it is coming to PS4 but we’ll update this article the moment the English details become released (or I manage to get through this Reading Japanese For Dummies book).

What we do know is the game promises a higher resolution for the game, better character models, and if you can’t tell from the trailer, amazing movie sequences. The in-game visuals will use ‘current gen graphics’ and you’ll get 7.1 surround sound and the choice of Japanese or English voiceovers.
